Cartoon Forum was a great success. We have had so much interest in Q Pootle 5 that Ben will now be immersing himself in a mountainous “to do” list. Thanks for your appreciation, kind words and interest in the project. From all of us here at Snapper x x x
Well it’s been a long time since we posted anything. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes here which has been terrific and Ben’s wife had another baby boy.
Final preparations are underway for Cartoon Forum and we’re presenting at 10.20am on Thursday 25 October. A week today!
Just a quick update. Snapper will be presenting Q Pootle 5 at Cartoon Forum this summer. We’re really looking forward to visiting Norway’s fjorlands – Pootle tells us he has never been to Norway before…
With the pilot now finished we are nearly at the end of the development process. Woo hoo! Everybody has done a terrific job and we’re really confident Pootle will be very popular. Thanks again to everybody who has been involved in the process.
Pilot will be signed off this Wednesday. It’s terrific – a big thank you to Blue Zoo, Tamborine, David Schweitzer and of course the marvellous Martin Freeman and Joanna Page.
Blue Zoo have almost finished the animation, Tamborine are laying down the sound and David is plucking strings and tweaking horns for Pootle’s and Oopsy’s imminent arrival on screen!
The pilot is well underway. Pootle and Oopsy look nice and cubist at the moment – prior to rendering.
We’ve had great recording sessions with Martin Freeman and Joanna Page and we’re also very pleased that David Schweitzer has agreed to compose the music for the pilot. David has worked on numerous children’s programmes including Charlie & Lola.
Welcome to the Snapper blog. Progress on Q Pootle 5 is going very well. But until such a time as we can keep you entertained with more from the little green man -- check this out instead.
